Can Worcester Read 5,000 Books In #WooReads Challenge?

The challenge is on for Worcester readers to log in 5,000 books.

WORCESTER, MA—The Worcester Public Library is inviting adult readers to join in a movement called the WooReads: Adult Reading Challenge, which runs through May 31, 2019. The goal is to read 5,000 books as part of the challenge - encouraging adults to pick up a book, and creating a community of readers.

The online challenge can be found at mywpl.org, where readers can log their books, access adult booklists, learn about author events, add book reviews, and win prizes.

Recently, the adult summer reading challenge invited adults to take part in the community goal to Read a Million Minutes. Five hundred and sixty-six adult readers signed up, and read a combined 964,617 minutes.
