First Ever Summer At '72 Block Party Comes To Worcester

Several restaurants get together for this first hoped-to-be annual block party, which also includes corn hole and live music.

WORCESTER, MA—Local businesses have joined forces to bring Summer at '72 to Worcester, the first-ever block party happening at 72 Shrewsbury St.

The event, on Aug. 26, is an all-day affair of music, games, art, stellar cuisine, and the Woo’s favorite brew, from noon to 9 p.m.

Surrounded by the hub at 72 Shrewsbury St., the day-long block party takes place outside in the massive shared parking lot and features:

Along with top notch food & beverage, guests get a show from The Blue Light Bandits, named “Best Live Act” by the Worcester Music Awards, and DJ Chuck Chillin.

The event also includes a dunk dank and a corn hole tournament that pits 30 teams against one another and offers up to $500 in prizes.
