Flash Flood Warning Issued: Worcester To Framingham
A large swath between Worcester and Framingham could see sudden high water through Friday afternoon during Tropical Storm Elsa.
WORCESTER, MA — The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning covering a wide section of the state between Worcester, Marlborough, Framingham and south to the Rhode Island and Connecticut borders.
The flash flood warning is an upgrade from the flash flood watch issued Thursday. It means the potential for roads and sewers to become suddenly inundated is much higher. The weather service advised local residents to avoid either walking or driving through high water.
