See National Weather Service data on the bone-chilling lows Massachusetts saw overnight into Saturday morning.

WORCESTER, MA — We hope you were asleep in a warm bed because last night was an absolutely frigid one. Temperatures reached some of the lowest points so far this winter in Massachusetts.
In Boston, the temperature swung from a high of 40 on Friday to a crisp low of 12 early Saturday morning. Out in Orange, the temperature dropped to just 1 degree.
Temperatures will struggle to get up to 30 during the day Saturday, but luckily clear skies will bring some warmth from the sun. Sunday is looking like the warmest day of the long weekend, with highs in the low 40s between Boston and Worcester, according to the National Weather Service.
