
WORCESTER, MA—A teenaged girl is in good condition after being struck by a car on Park Ave.
Around 7:08 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11, police responded to the area of 229 Park Ave., where a pedestrian had reportedly been hit by a vehicle. A 13-year-old girl had been hit, but was alert and conscious. She was treated and sent to the hospital with a cut on her head.
The driver of a Jeep Liberty, a 63-year-old man, was headed south on Park Ave. traveling in the outside lane when the car in front of him slowed down, causing him to swerve into the inside lane to avoid hitting the other car. That's when he struck the teenaged girl, said police.

The crash is still under investigation. No citations were issued.
