Gunfire Hits Private Dwelling: Police
A ShotSpotter alert tipped police off to gunfire on Fern Street, police said.

WORCESTER, MA - A ShotSpotter alert led police to a building on Fern Street that appeared to have been hit by bullets, police said.Â
Police received the alert at about 8:30 p.m. on Monday, police said. ShotSpotter technology is a system that detects gunfire.
Officers found two rounds had been shot into the side of a building, police said. No injuries were reported, according to police.

Police searched the area for witnesses and the Crime Scene Unit arrived on scene to process evidence, police said. The investigation is still ongoing.
