Hangover Pub And Broth In Worcester Close For 'Near Future'

The closing is due to "unforeseen circumstances."

WORCESTER, MA—Both the Hangover Pub and sister restaurant Broth, both owned by the same person, is closing "due to unforeseen circumstances," according to an announcement on Friday afternoon from the restaurants.

"We will keep everyone posted on our re-open date and appreciate everyone's support," said the announcement. "We love you all and will see you soon."

The all-about-bacon Hangover Pub is owned by Christopher Slavinskas, and the Worcester Business Journal reports has been connected to an investigation of The Chameleon, another Worcester restaurant. The Chameleon's owner reportedly faces 14 charges related to drugs and money laundering. He pleaded guilty and agreed to a prison sentence, as well as forfeiting his properties and assets.
