WORCESTER, MA — If you haven't had a chance to attend a Worcester Red Sox game during the team's inaugural season, you can get a free look this weekend.

The WooSox will open the gates of Polar Park for free tours of supposedly the nation's priciest minor league stadium. The team will be on the road in Lehigh Valley, Penn., but most of the park's amenities will be on display.

During the three-hour event, visitors will be able to walk the warning track on the field, peek into the club areas and see the main concourse. Vendors will be open offering food and drinks, team mascot Smiley Ball will be signing autographs and representatives from the team will be collecting feedback about the park.

Polar Park opened on May 11 for the WooSox home opener, but the team is still adding some finishing touches. The stadium just last week added a children's play area, a grassy berm where fans will be able to sit and more.

The Polar Park open house runs 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the stadium located in Worcester's Kelley Square. The team returns home on July 13 for a six-game homestand against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.
