I-290 Ramp In Worcester Closing For Construction
The closure will affect the exit near the Holy Cross campus, according to MassDOT.
WORCESTER, MA — A construction project along I-290 in Worcester will force the closure of an off-ramp during overnight hours this week.
The exit 11 ramp on the eastbound side of the freeway will close beginning 10 p.m. Monday, and should reopen by around 4 a.m. Tuesday, according to MassDOT. Exit 11 empties onto Southbridge Street near the Holy Cross campus.
A detour will take drivers one exit farther along the Freeway to Vernon Street, where drivers can get back on I-290 westbound to get off at exit 11.
