I-290 Westbound Exit In Worcester Closed Overnight

NORTHBOROUGH, MA—The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) announced that the I-290 Exit 25 A/B on and off-ramps in Northborough are intermittently closed on the evening of Friday, Sept. 21. These temporary on and off-ramp closures will allow crews to safely and effectively conduct paving operations.

During this time, all traffic seeking to exit I-290 westbound at this location will be directed to utilize Exit 24 (Church Street) and follow the detour signage in place. Traffic seeking to enter I-290 westbound will be directed to utilize I-290 eastbound in order to access I-495 southbound to Exit 24A (Route 20 eastbound).

MassDOT encourages the public to be mindful of these impacts. Those traveling through the area should reduce speed and use caution. The schedule for this work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.
