Man Dies In 3-Alarm House Fire In Webster
The fire broke out Wednesday night in a multifamily home near downtown Webster.
WEBSTER, MA — One person was killed and several others had to be rescued when a fire broke out in a home in the downtown Webster area late Wednesday night.
Webster firefighters responded to 146 High St. Wednesday on a report of a structure fire. The flames engulfed the three-family home, and one woman escaped by climbing onto the roof of the structure, according to WHDH.
The man who died was found inside the home after firefighters put the flames out, according to reports. The cause of the fire was under investigation Thursday morning.
