Man Grabbed Cologne, Perfume In Worcester CVS Burglary: Police
Police caught the 25-year-old late Monday night as he was leaving the Lincoln Street variety store.
WORCESTER, MA — A Worcester man was arrested and charged Monday night after police caught him leaving a CVS along Lincoln Street with an armful of cologne and perfume.
Worcester police went to the 481 Lincoln St. CVS near 11 p.m. on a call about a break-in. When the officers arrived, police said the 25-year-old suspect was crawling through the broken doors of the variety store carrying the stolen fragrances.
The man put up fight when officers tried to arrest him, police said, and so he was charged with two counts of assaulting an officer on top of charges of possessing burglary tools, breaking and entering during the nighttime, vandalism, larceny from a building and resisting arrest.
