New L.L.Bean Store Coming To Worcester Area
The store will open in 2021 at the Shops at Blackstone Valley, according to the company.
MILLBURY, MA — Soon, you won't have any trouble buying duck boots in the Worcester area.
The venerable New England outfitter L.L.Bean will open a store at the Shops at Blackstone Valley this fall, the company said Thursday. The central Massachusetts expansion comes after the company reported $1.59 billion in net revenue in 2020 due to people flocking outdoors during the pandemic.
The Millbury store will be the eighth in Massachusetts by the Freeport, Maine-based retailer. Like the catalog, the stores sell outdoor clothing, plus gear like kayaks, bikes, backpacks — and of course duck boots.
