WORCESTER, MA — It's the last day for WAAF as we know it, and the station is asking fans to suggest how the station should end its 50-odd year run as a contemporary rock station.

"What should be the last song played on WAAF?" the station asked on Twitter Thursday.

On Saturday, WAAF will switch formats to Christian contemporary. You'll still be able to hear the rock version of WAAF on Radio.com and on the HD channels 104.1-2 and 93.7-2, but not on your standard FM dial. There also won't be any DJs — music will be programmed all by computer.

Fans responded with hundreds of suggestions for a last song, ranging from angry ("The Number of the Beast" by Megadeth) to funny (a song by the Christian rock band Creed).
