WORCESTER, MA—A Worcester man is facing several weapons and drug charges after a search of his house.

WPD's Vice Squad on Wednesday, Sept. 19, around 7 a.m., searched an address on Mott Street in Worcester, naming the target as Edwin Saavedra, 42, who lives there. Police surveyed undercover the property for several days prior, and noticed many people coming to that address for short visits and then leaving. Police during a search found a plastic case that contained 77 rounds of .40 caliber ammunition, a Remington box that contained 9 mm ammunition, an unloaded 15 round large capacity handgun magazine, a large amount of packaging materials, two digital scales, cutting agents, two sifters and a grinder, seven suboxone strips and a stun gun that was disguised as a flashlight.
