Snow Totals So Far For April Nor'easter

Anywhere between 1 and 7 inches of snow fell west of I-95 Friday. See how much your area got.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — It seemed a little crazy when the National Weather Service on Thursday issued multiple winter weather warnings connected to a nor'easter, predicting that up to 7 inches of snow could fall as far east as I-495.

That prediction turned out to be mostly right. However, snow made its way well east of the Worcester area, dropping several inches in the MetroWest area, and even in Boston. The snow caused big messes on local highways, with spin outs and traffic up and down the Mass Pike during both rush hours.

The snow was also heavy and wet, mixing with rain at times. That led to power outages, and in Wayland a power line snapped near the Happy Hollow School.
