Storm Knocks Out Power For 4,000+ In Worcester County
Another day, another storm. The short but frenzied storm (and possibly tornado) that ripped through Worcester County took out power.
WORCESTER, MA—The storm (and possibly tornado) that made a quick but destructive path through southern Worcester County on Saturday morning took down some trees and buildings, and also knocked out quite a bit of power.
As of 12:30 p.m., slightly more than 4,000 were without power, according to National Grid.
Most of these outages are centered around Webster, which has affected 3,438, and Dudley, which affected nearly 500. National Grid reports a restore time of 6:45 p.m. on Saturday.
