Tornado Watch Issued For Worcester, Middlesex Counties
A line of severe thunderstorms is supposed to move through central Massachusetts beginning around 7 p.m.
WORCESTER, MA — The National Weather Service in Boston has issued a tornado watch for Worcester and Middlesex counties through 10 p.m. Friday.
Severe weather is supposed to move into central Massachusetts beginning around 7 p.m. Friday, bringing rain, thunderstorms, and the chance of a tornado.
A tornado watch means that forecasters will be on alert for possible twisters. Anyone living in the watch area should keep updated on weather alerts, and make sure emergency supplies are available. Forecasters will issue a tornado warning if one is spotted.
