CHARLTON, MA — In 2020, the revered Tree House Brewing Co. in Charlton announced plans to expand to western Massachusetts and Cape Cod.

In 2021, the brewer is expanding into vaccine distribution.

On Tuesday, Tree House announced it would hold a coronavirus vaccine clinic at its new location in Deerfield at the former Channing Bete campus. Eligible populations — anyone over 75 and caretakers — can sign up now for appointments. The clinic will be open Thursday and Friday beginning at 9:30 a.m. each day, according to the brewery.

Tree House opened its flagship brewery and tap room along Route 20 in Charlton in 2017. Before shutting down the tap room during the pandemic, the brewery was a major attraction across New England. The brewer has continued to sell beer and coffee to-go throughout coronavirus.

In November, the Tree House owners announced new sites in Sandwich at Town Neck Beach, and at the 50-acre Channing Bete site in South Deerfield. The Deerfield site is set to open in late winter or early spring depending on the pandemic conditions, and the Sandwich site may open this summer.
