UMass Has Walk-In Coronavirus Vaccine Appointments
The UMass Memorial Mercantile Center COVID-19 vaccine site was originally set up for patients inside the health system.

WORCESTER, MA — A downtown Worcester coronavirus vaccine site has walk-in appointments available on Tuesday.
UMass Memorial said early Tuesday on Twitter that the Mercantile Center vaccine site would accept walk-in clients. The site initially opened in February for UMass Memorial patients only.
The vaccine site, located at 201 Commercial St., is open until 4 p.m. Tuesday. You can find more details about the clinic and how to get vaccinated on the UMass Memorial website. COVID-19 vaccines are free.

Anyone in Massachusetts over age 16 is now eligible to get a coronavirus vaccine. However, only the Pfizer version is approved for people under age 18.
