Union Station Mugger Sought By Worcester Police

The victim's son says a man demanded his 79-year-old mother hand over money after she got off a train recently at Union Station.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police are trying to identify a man accused of mugging a 79-year-old woman at Union Station recently.

The mugging happened in June, according to the woman's son, who is offering a reward for the mugger's arrest.

"She got off the train at union station in Worcester and he approached her and demanded money from her grabbed her by the shoulder and threatened her with bodily harm," Sam Rosario wrote on Facebook Thursday.

The mugger took about $43 from the woman, according to Boston 25.
