What's Open, Closed On Christmas In Worcester
Pandemic or not, there won't be much open on Christmas this year.

WORCESTER, MA — Christmas is on Friday, and the holiday will look a lot different in Massachusetts this year due to the pandemic. Local and state health officials are asking residents to stay home and celebrate only with the people in your immediate household.
Even if you're hosting a small celebration at home, you might need to venture out for something. But there won't be much open.
- Retail stores: Most closed
- Liquor stores: Closed
- Grocery stores: most major stores closed
- Convenience stores: Open at owner's discretion
- Restaurants, bars: Open at owner's discretion
- Banks: Closed
- Libraries: Closed
- Stock market: Closed
- Municipal, state, federal offices: Closed
- Mail: Post offices closed
- MBTA: Commuter rail on Sunday schedule
- WRTA: No fixed-route service
- MWRTA: No fixed-route service
- Trash Collection: Most communities will be delayed by one day.
