Worcester Academy Congratulates Baseball Champs

Worcester Varsity Baseball Team students enjoyed a successful season, winning a Championship Tournament.

From Worcester Academy: Worcester Academy's Varsity Baseball Team enjoyed a successful 2017 season, winning the Central New England Prep School Baseball League/Thomas Blackburn Championship Tournament. The WA Team won with a 5 - 2 victory over Phillips Academy Andover to earn its second championship in three years.

Contributing to the championship win were the following team members:
  • Ethan Student of Hopkinton, Grade: 11.
  • Craig Corliss of Hopkinton, Grade: 12.
  • Jonathan Wolf of Hopkinton, Grade: 12.
  • Kyle Halloran of Hopkinton, Grade: postgraduate student.

Worcester Academy students excell both on and off the field while also embracing the Academy's Core Values: Honor, Respect, Community, Personal Growth, and Challenge. They has built camaraderie, develop strategies for competition, and learn valuable lessons about achieving goals through Worcester Academy's athletic program.
