Worcester Athlete Named WPI Women's Student-Athlete of the Week
WPI was also second among Division III programs as Hobart (16:06.302) took fourth.
FromWPI: The varsity eight of the men's rowing team, which includes Nathan Pietrowicz, has been tabbed as the WPI Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, October 21st.
Nathan Pietrowicz, Kyle Coleman, Marc Reardon, Frank Campanelli, Isaac Beeman, Ben Thornton, Daniel Tengden, Gabriel Kafka-Gibbons and coxswain Lily Olsen finished ninth at the iconic Head of the Charles Regatta on Sunday. The Engineers (16:31.400) were less two seconds out of sixth place behind Notre Dame (16:29.626), Boston College (16:29.866) and St. Joseph's PA (16:31.090). WPI was also second among Division III programs as Hobart (16:06.302) took fourth while New England rival Bates placed 22nd (17:31.648). Division I Holy Cross came home 11th.
