Worcester Cold Sets Record Overnight
The wind chill value at 2 a.m. was 41 degrees below zero.

WORCESTER, MA - The bitter cold only intensified overnight into Sunday morning, with temperatures plunging below zero and records being broken all across Massachusetts.
A temperature record was set around 2 a.m. when Worcester dropped to 13 below zeroes; the temperature was 11 below in 1979. The wind chill overnight Saturday was a 41 degrees below zero, according to the National Weather Service.
