Worcester Coronavirus Vaccine Clinics Postponed Due To Weather
Tuesday was set to be opening day for a vaccine supersite at Worcester State University.
WORCESTER, MA — Two coronavirus vaccine clinics set for Tuesday in Worcester will be postponed due to an icy winter storm in the region.
The Worcester Senior Center site, 128 Providence St., will open at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Any appointments scheduled between 8 a.m. and 12:40 p.m. will instead happen on Saturday at the same times.
Meanwhile, the vaccine supersite at Worcester State University won't open until Wednesday afternoon. Appointments made for the 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. clinic on Tuesday will happen at the same times on Saturday. Tuesday was supposed to be opening day for the supersite.

A winter storm left a coating of ice along roads across Worcester County. Rain was set to continue through the morning hours, but temperatures will gradually rise to close to 40 around Worcester, according to the National Weather Service.
