Worcester County Power Outages: Down To Nearly 13,000
Throughout the county, more than 40,000 were without power. By Monday night, it's significantly fewer. Grid is "assessing the condition. "

WORCESTER, MA—There were more than 40,000 throughout Worcester County without power as of 10:20 a.m. on Monday, according to National Grid. Multiple communities across Massachusetts were-or still are--suffering power outages Monday, with more than 300,000 without throughout the state, in the midst of wild wind and rain.
Of the 298,389 National Grid customers in Worcester County, 43,711 were without power.
But as of Monday evening at 6:20 p.m., that number is down to 12,849.

Charlton and Millville still have more than 500 with in each of those towns, Douglas is more than 600, and Spencer is struggling the most at 722. In Westborough 151 were still without power, and Worcester proper was down to 1,717.
National Grid does not indicate a restore time for most towns, but is "assessing the condition."
