Following the opening, the senior center will begin hosting events, and will be open weekdays between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The center has been hosting virtual programs on the Worcester government access channel over the last year.

During the closure, several renovations have happened at the senior center. The center has a new parking lot, a rain garden and an AARP outdoor fitness center.
