WORCESTER, MA — In you run out of butter on Thanksgiving or need to pick up an emergency Tofurky, you'll need to know which grocery stores will be open to help you. There are slim pickings on the holiday, but a few small and large grocery stores will be open in the area for your last-minute shopping needs.
In general, all big chains like Stop & Shop, Shaw's, Market Basket, Wegmans, Whole Foods, and Roche Bros. are closed in Massachusetts. But we called around to local stores to confirm Thanksgiving hours. Here's what the stores told us:
