WPI Announces This Year's Football Roster
Joe Kerkach and Isaac Stilwell both made the Worcester Polytechnic Institute football team.

WORCESTER, MA - From Worcester Polytechnic Institute: The following local WPI student-athletes earned a spot on the Football opening day roster, as revealed by eighth-year head coach Chris Robertson.

Fresh off back-to-back winning seasons for the first time in nearly 25 seasons, the Engineers begin conference play in the NEWMAC, continuing league rivalries with Springfield and Merchant Martine, renewing league ties with Coast Guard and Norwich and forging new gridiron matchups with MIT, Maine Maritime and Catholic.
WPI, who was picked third in the inaugural coaches poll, hosts Anna Maria Friday night and heads to Springfield to begin it's first NEWMAC slate, following several years in the Liberty League, on September 23.
