2 Displaced Following Weekend Fire In Wrentham
The fire caused significant smoke and water damage throughout the home.
WRENTHAM, MA — Two elderly brothers have been displaced following a fire on Philips Lane in Wrentham Sunday morning, said Police Chief Bill McGrath.
The fire started in a bedroom on the second floor of the home and firefighters were able to extinguish it and contain it to that area, said McGrath. However, the entire home was significantly damaged from smoke and water.
The two residents of the home are being assisted by the American Red Cross, which provided them with temporary shelter at a local hotel and a case worker to help with their future needs.
