Lake Pearl Closed June 13
Lake Pearl to close on June 13 to treat invasive vegetation.

The town of Wrentham announced that Lake Pearl will be closed on June 13 to treat invasive vegetation.
All water uses, including swimming, fishing and boating will be prohibited during that day and that day only. Sweatt Beach will also be closed.
Use of the lake water for drinking, irrigation or watering livestock are prohibited for 5 days post-treatment, or until June 18.

The Aquatic Control of Technology Corporation of Sutton is performing the procedure, and is in line with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection regulations and the Wrentham Conservation Commission.
Invasive species of plants affect both other waterborn plants and wildlife. Fish and waterfowl are greatly affected, in feeding habits, reproudction and nesting.
