MA's 2 Most Popular Homes Last Week

These two were among the 10 most popular homes in the whole country on realtor.com

Two nice but relatively unassuming Massachusetts homes forced their way onto realtor.com's most popular homes of the week. The list is headlined by a $28 million Florida mega-mansion being sold by NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal, and while the two Bay State listings combined go for about $26.7 million less than that, they were still slam dunks to find buyers.

No. 8 was the listing for 179 Deerfield Ln. in Hanover. The home is listed for $889,999, and already has a potential buyer after just 11 days on realtor.com. According to realtor.com:

"Here’s a turn-key home ready for a summer move-in. Built in 2000, this four-bedroom Colonial is in great shape. The main level includes a high-end kitchen that opens to a family room with fireplace, as well as a formal living room and dining room. Upstairs, you find the bedrooms, as well as a bonus space. The finished basement features a sports pub, game room area for billiards, and walk-out sliding door to a 4-acre backyard with walking trails."

The No. 4 spot on realtor.com's list is a home on sale for just $399,900. That home, 15 Lee St. in Franklin, snagged a potential buyer after just 10 days on the site. Here's what realtor.com had to say about it:

"Why it’s here: This charming Cape Cod from 1930 has been totally redone, while maintaining its original features. The updated kitchen features quartz countertops and new flooring and opens to the dining room, office, and living room."
