Wrentham Fire, Police Help Revive Parishoner At St. Mary's Church

Wrentham police said a man was suffering from cardiac arrest at church on Sunday before police and fire personnel successfully revived him.

WRENTHAM, MA – Wrentham police and fire personnel helped resuscitate a man who was suffering from cardiac arrest at St. Mary's Church on Sunday. Wrentham police said the man was successfully revived and taken to an area hospital.

CPR when in progress when officers responded to a report of a parishioner in distress. Police took over the efforts with a defibrillator and continued CPR until Wrentham fire personnel showed up and began to administrate advanced life support.

Wrentham Police Chief Bill McGrath credited police and fire personnel with springing into action to help a resident in need.
