Wrentham Now A Coronavirus Red Zone
Wrentham has been designated a community at high risk of coronavirus transmission as of Dec. 31.

WRENTHAM, MA — Wrentham has been designated a coronavirus "red zone" as of Thursday as positive test rates continue to rise statewide.
The town's status as a "red zone" means that is at the highest risk of COVID-19 transmission and has had at least 10 average daily cases per 10,000 residents and a 5% positivity rate.
The latest statistics released by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health on Thursday reveal that there have been 564 confirmed COVID-19 case in Wrentham, with 91 reported in the two weeks before Dec. 31.

Wrentham currently has an average daily incidence rate of 57.7 and a positivity rate of 5.15%, an increase from last week's average daily incidence rate of 56.4 and positivity rate of 4.88%.
As of Thursday, 190 communities in Massachusetts are at high risk of COVID-19 transmission. The state reported 3,110 new cases and 105 new deaths on Sunday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 371,097 and the total number of deaths among confirmed cases to 12,341.
