Wrentham Police Chief Calls For Change To Route 1 After Crash
Wrentham Chief Bill McGrath is promoting a divided Route 1 in Wrentham after latest two-car crash Sunday night.
WRENTHAM — Wrentham Police Chief Bill McGrath is calling on the Massachusetts Department of Transportation to make changes to Route 1 in the town after the latest crash Sunday night. McGrath posted photos on the department's Facebook page with the demand: "Hey...MASS. D.O.T, DIVIDE ROUTE 1 NOW!"
McGrath said the crash was a "rear-ender" where a pickup truck stopped to make a turn and was struck from behind by an SUV.
