Wrentham Seeking Volunteers For 350th Anniversary Planning Board

The town will celebrate the 350th anniversary of its founding in 2023.

WRENTHAM, MA — The Town of Wrentham is seeking volunteers to serve on a planning committee for its 350th anniversary celebration.

According to Town Administrator Kevin Sweet, Wrentham will celebrate the 350th anniversary of the founding of the town in 2023 and the committee will be appointed on July 1 of this year to begin planning and organizing the celebration.

“After well over a year of dealing with the pandemic and everything that went along with it, this will definitely be something for the entire town to look forward to,” said Sweet in a statement. “The Town of Wrentham has a rich history and many residents who care deeply about their hometown, and we look forward to having a great mix of people sit on this committee to help us plan a year-long celebration to remember. I encourage anyone who is interested to sign up to serve.”
