Wrentham's Sing-Off Grand Finale Thursday

WRENTHAM — The grand finale of a Karaoke Sing-Off will take place on Thursday, July 2nd at The Tavern at Wrentham. It marks the culmination of ten weeks of judging local talent, and will result in one $600 Grand Prize winner from the talent pool.

“It’s going to be a close call, given the performances we’ve seen,” says Tavern owner and music enthusiast, Doug Smith. “You’ve got to hear for yourself how talented these sing-off participants are!” He says he loves showcasing such talented vocalists at The Tavern’s Sing-off, which has become an annual event.

The twelve chosen for Thursday’s finale have survived cuts through several qualification and elimination rounds. On Thursday, the top singers will compete against each other in three rounds. Each round will eliminate half of the contestants. One song will be of the performer’s choice, another will be chosen from a specific genre, and one song will be the judges’ choice. The Grand Prize winner will emerge from the top three in the third and final round of the night.

Mike Foley of Foley Custom Entertainment hosts the sing-off. Finalists will perform on stage via a state of the art JBL sound system, wireless mics and up to date music.

All are welcome to join the audience. Dinner and drink specials will be offered from 5PM-9PM, and the competition begins promptly at 9.
