The original German Oktoberfest tradition takes place every year in Munich. It’s a cultural extravaganza, and this year, its celebrating it’s 184th anniversary. Now that’s a lot of beer!

2017 Oktoberfests Across Michigan
Oktoberfest West Michigan, September 29th-30th

- Grand Rapids' only Oktoberfest celebration is back! Head over to John Bell park for a fun filled weekend of beer, bratwurst, and much more. Traditional German & Bavarian food will be served, as some great music is played that is sure to delight.

Bell's Oktoberfest, September 29th-30th
- 170 North James Street, Ludington
- Pub crawl games, a chili walk, and a beard contest are just some of the fun events on tap for Bell's Oktoberfest in Ludington. Classic German fare and plenty of beer will be served as you soak up the sights and sounds of the German culture.

Michigan Princess' Oktoberfest, October 6th
- Grand River Park, Lansing (Docking Point)
- The Michigan Princess, an old school style riverboat, celebrates Oktoberfest with a cruise around the Grand River. With plenty of beers and ciders on tap, you're sure to get a great taste of all sorts of German and Bavarian style drinks. In addition, some great German food will be served to satisfy the hunger you're sure to work up on the cruise.
