MI Coronavirus Vaccine Hub: Where, Who And How To Get Immunized
Find the latest information here on who is eligible to be vaccinated in Michigan and how to schedule an appointment.
MICHIGAN — The vaccine rollout in Michigan as with much of the country has faced its fair share of hurdles that have left residents feeling frustrated.
Still, more and more people are getting shots daily. As of Wednesday, Michigan had administered about 2 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccines, moving the state closer to its goal of vaccinating every Michigander that wants a vaccine. Michigan is working to administer 50,000 shots per day through Governor Whitmer’s MI COVID Recovery Plan, officials have routinely said.
The vaccine is being administered at countywide sites, with many local health departments hosting community clinics for eligible residents to be vaccinated. Pharmacies are also beginning to vaccinate those who qualify.

Where To Get Vaccinated
People eligible for COVID-19 vaccinations can schedule appointments to be vaccinated through their local health department. The state has put together a map that allows people to click on their respective county, which gives a prompt for where vaccination sites are (if public) and who they can contact to set up an appointment.
Also in Michigan, some retailers have been allotted vaccines for the public. Rite Aid and Meijer have some of their pharmacy locations open to people to schedule vaccination appointments. Many of these locations have not been identified publicly because they are not open to walk-in appointments.
Anyone who needs help navigating the vaccine scheduling process can call the COVID-19 Hotline at (888) 535-6136 (press 1) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or 8 a.m to 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
