Michigan Adds 1,484 Coronavirus Cases, 3 Deaths Since Saturday

Michigan has added nearly 1,500 new cases of the coronavirus since Saturday, officials said Monday.

MICHIGAN — Michigan has added nearly 1,500 new coronavirus cases since Saturday, according to the latest coronavirus data released by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Monday.

The state reported 1,484 new cases of the coronavirus and three more COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing Michigan's updated coronavirus figures to 581,403 confirmed cases and 15,362 reported deaths.

More than 529,000 people in Michigan have recovered from the coronavirus since the pandemic began, officials said Saturday.

Michigan's updated figures on Monday were released shortly after the state reported 20 more outbreaks of the coronavirus within schools across the state.
