Michigan Reports Nearly 518,000 Coronavirus Recoveries

Nearly 518,000 in Michigan have recovered from the coronavirus, state officials said Saturday.

MICHIGAN — Nearly 518,000 people in Michigan have recovered from the coronavirus, according to data released by state health officials on Saturday.

According to the most recent data regarding the number of COVID-19 recoveries in Michigan, which is released by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services weekly, 517,991 in Michigan had recovered from the coronavirus as of Friday.

Michigan health officials on Monday said that 1,265 new cases of the coronavirus and eight more COVID-19 deaths had been reported in the state since Saturday. The updated figures bring Michigan's new coronavirus numbers to 575,489 confirmed cases of the coronavirus and 15,158 reported COVID-19 deaths.

Monday's data comes after the state Saturday reported 852 new cases of the coronavirus and 88 COVID-19 deaths.
