Nassar Sentencing: Gymnastics Doctor To Face More Victims
Already facing a lifetime in prison, the doctor now faces sentencing for abuse cases at a gymnastics facility.

LANSING, MI – Larry Nassar, the sports medicine doctor who molested scores of young women and girls during routine medical exams, is due back in court on Wednesday. This time, he will be in Eaton County for a sentencing hearing in Judge Janice Cunningham's courtroom.
Nassar has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting girls with his hands at the Twistars gymnastics club that was run by former Olympic coach John Geddert. As of Wednesday, 57 victims have said they want to speak or submit statements to the court.
Like the seven-day hearing that concluded last week in Ingham County, several dozen women are to provide victim statements to Cunningham, who has set aside several days for the testimony.

During the hearing last week in Ingham County, the victims provided tearful testimony how the doctor took advantage of their innocence and violated them. Judge Rosemarie Aquilina last week sentenced Nassar to up to 175 years in prison, and told him, "I just signed your death warrant." Aquilina has taken criticism for a zealous approach to his sentence.
