FLINT, MI — On the heels of President Donald Trump's Tuesday visit to Lansing, Vice President Mike Pence will be in Michigan on Wednesday to drum up support among likely voters just six days before the presidential election.
Pence is scheduled to speak at 7 p.m. local time during Wednesday's "Make America Great Again Victory Rally" in Flint. The event will be held at Bishop International Airport.
The vice president's visit is the latest in a series of visits to Michigan, often considered a key swing state in presidential elections.

As of Wednesday, Democratic candidate Joe Biden is leading President Trump by eight percentage points in Michigan, according to a new poll from The New York Times and Siena College. The survey offers the latest glimpse at Trump's troubled standing in Midwestern battleground states.
Wednesday's events also come as Americans continue to flood polling places ahead of the Nov. 3 election.

So far this year, the number of early ballots cast has already exceeded half of the number of total votes cast during the entire 2016 presidential election, according to data compiled by the United States Elections Project.
