2017 Winter Tax Payments Accepted This Week

The City of Huntington Woods does not take prepayment for 2018 property taxes. According to a statement from the city treasurer, “This is true will all municipalities in the State. Property Taxes are based upon values as of 12/31/2017 and therefore there is no basis by which to calculate tax liability.”

While next year’s taxes cannot be assessed til the very end of 2017, winter taxes are due by Feb 14, 2018. City residents wishing to pay those taxes are welcome to do so, and city hall will be open from now through Friday to accept these payments.
