More than 50 area Dairy Queen stores will be participating Tuesday, March 20 in the Dairy Queen Free Cone Day promotion to benefit the Children’s Hospital, the southeast Michigan affiliate of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. DQ stores will be open 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
Dairy Queen Free Cone Day is a special event hosted on the first day of spring by Michigan Dairy Queen owners. On this day, stores will be staffed to handle huge crowds and owners give away free small cones to anybody who visits their store.
Stores will accept cash donations that day through a Children’s Miracle Network donation bucket with proceeds going to Children’s Miracle Network at Beaumont. More information is available at www.dqfreeconeday.com
