Baker College continues 2017 winter enrollment

December deadlines for new students approaching

Enrollment for 2017 winter quarter is ongoing for new and returning students at Baker College’s Allen Park campus, 4500 Enterprise Drive, Allen Park. On-ground classes begin Monday, Jan. 9; the two sessions of online classes begin Thursday, Jan. 5, and Thursday, Feb. 16.

Enrollment deadlines for new students vary; the earliest is Thursday, Dec. 22.

Baker College has day, evening, weekend and online classes for degree and certificate programs in the areas of applied technology, business, education, engineering, health science, information technology and social science.

Bachelor’s, associate and certificate career programs offered at the Allen Park campus include accounting, human resource management, marketing, management, information technology and security, computer programming, cyber defense, computer networking technology/Microsoft and Cisco options, digital media design, early childhood education, nursing, health services administration, occupational therapy assistant, physical therapist assistant, surgical technology, opticianry, therapeutic massage, criminal justice, computer numerical control (CNC) machinist, advanced manufacturing technology, mechanical technology and construction management.

Classes are offered on a quarter basis for 2017 winter, spring and summer sessions and will transition to semesters beginning fall 2017.

Financial assistance is available to students, including scholarships, grants, low-interest loans and work-study programs.
