mamahive Helps Moms and Moms-To-Be Grow Their Support Network, Tap the Knowledge of Licensed and Certified Experts
New membership-based online community connects mothers to each other as well as with qualified professionals.
To provide moms and moms-to-be with much-needed support and education, Mamahive LLC today announced the launch of mamahive (https://mamahive.com). mamahive is a membership-based online community that connects mothers to each other as well as with qualified professionals.
“Mothering is a beautiful mess,” said Maci Wescott, co-founder of mamahive. “Moms have lots of information and experience to share. Some moms already share online, but we wanted to create a space curated with licensed and certified experts so our members know the information they are receiving can be trusted. That’s what truly sets us apart.”
mamahive is specifically tailored to serve moms from pre-pregnancy until their children reach age 5/6. This is often the timeframe when foundational support is most needed by women adjusting to motherhood.

This virtual, inclusive online clubhouse (or “hive” as its members refer to the space) has many advantages. It is staffed by a licensed psychotherapist, provides members with content from expert contributors, furnishes private rooms to discuss sensitive matters, specializes in online programming as well as delivering newsfeed style discussions and individual chat.
Added Wescott, “Members won’t find judgment in the mamahive. We don’t believe motherhood is a competitive sport.”

Weekly inspiration includes yoga poses, videos, meditations and more. Topics for video-led support groups with licensed professionals can range from: parents with children of special needs to postpartum support; fertility education; mompreneurs; working moms; LGBTQ moms; stay-at-home moms; moms of sensitive children; single moms; moms of toddlers and more.
Wescott, along with co-founder Brooke Miller, decided to launch the site in January 2017 after realizing how much of the conversation in social communities for mothers was not being checked.
“Misinformation is easily spread with the best of intentions,” said Wescott. “We brought to life the network we were seeking when we were pregnant with our children, but couldn’t find.”
Wescott, a Huntington Woods, Mich. wife and mom of two, serves as an online community facilitator and is a certified Simplicity Parenting Coach. She has been cultivating online communities since 2009 and is also a productivity expert specializing in helping moms find balance in their new normal.
Miller, MA, LMFT, RYT is a proud wife and mama of two daughters and resides in Berkley, Mich. She is a licensed psychotherapist (LMFT 50412) specializing in maternal wellness, and certified yoga teacher for both children and adults. She has been working with families for 10 years in private practice, school settings, in-patient facilities, and in the media.
