Man Dies After Crashing Car While Fleeing Cops In Berkley: Report

BERKLEY, MI — A deadly police chase left one person dead Tuesday morning, according to reports.

WXYZ reported that a driver fleeing police crashed during the pursuit and died.

Police said the driver was being pursued by officers from the city of Berkley Police Department when the driver ran a red light on 11 Mile Road, hitting another vehicle, WXYZ reported. The driver then hit police, according to the station.

While the driver of the fleeing vehicle died, WXYZ reported that the driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.
