Weekend Open House Guide: Berkley/Huntington Woods

This week, we looked at many interesting old homes in the area, along with brand-new construction that tries to recapture the charm of bygone eras. This weekend, you can walk through some of Patch’s favorite “Wow” houses, including a 1920s craftsman with a deep front porch and a Parisian-style kitchen, a 1957 detached brick house that hides a world of 2018 to-the-studs remodeling (the black-and-white granite in the kitchen is especially pretty) and a 2018 townhouse full of “smart” features, including a camera doorbell and USB wall outlets.

• The brand-new smart townhouse located at 2667 Harvard Rd, Unit 12, Berkley, holds its open house Saturday, April 14, from noon til 4 p.m.
• The 1920s craftsman at 2993 Kenmore Rd, Berkley has its open house Sunday, April 15, from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
• The 1957 brick with the 2018 “Wow” interior at 23 Maplefield Rd, Pleasant Ridge, has its open house Sunday, April 15, from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
