Weekend Open House Guide: Berkley/Huntington Woods
This weekend is the perfect opportunity to tour open houses in Berkley and Pleasant Ridge.
This week, we looked at many interesting old homes in the area, along with brand-new construction that tries to recapture the charm of bygone eras. This weekend, you can walk through some of Patch’s favorite “Wow” houses, including a 1920s craftsman with a deep front porch and a Parisian-style kitchen, a 1957 detached brick house that hides a world of 2018 to-the-studs remodeling (the black-and-white granite in the kitchen is especially pretty) and a 2018 townhouse full of “smart” features, including a camera doorbell and USB wall outlets.
- The brand-new smart townhouse located at 2667 Harvard Rd, Unit 12, Berkley, holds its open house Saturday, April 14, from noon til 4 p.m.
- The 1920s craftsman at 2993 Kenmore Rd, Berkley has its open house Sunday, April 15, from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
- The 1957 brick with the 2018 “Wow” interior at 23 Maplefield Rd, Pleasant Ridge, has its open house Sunday, April 15, from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
